Gemini New Moon Yoga Practice

The moon is new in Gemini on Monday May 26th at 8:02 pm PST. This moon has us integrating change and transformation on the nervous sytem level in our bodies. In yoga practice we will explore this through intention, breath and repetition. Off the yoga mat, other ways to explore this are through art, music, time in nature, creating new habits and repeating them and more. We are working with big change energies from a few different directions: first, we have a new moon, new moon = new cycle, second, Saturn has just entered Aries this weekend- a slower moving planet which has just strated a brand new cycle in the zodiac (Aries is the first sign). Saturn in Aries is dissolving old karma and slowly and steadily buidling a new personal identity. It is hanging out with Neptune, another outer planet who has recently entered Aries as well. Third, we have the new moon trine Pluto, the planet of coming into our power through shadow work, deep, cathartic transformation and change and fourth, the new moon is conjunct Uranus the planet of jolting awakening and otherworldly insights, activation and change.
All of this is being funneled through the Gemini new moon- when we are experiencing Gemini energies we are in the lungs and the nervous system on the physical level and on the mental level we are having new conversations, exploring information and making new connections.
What newness are you integrating into your life?
How can you positively reinforce it so it becomes a part of your being, of your routine?
Using the breath and creating safety around this newness is how we can ease our nervous systems into a beautiful change.
